Macie Sargent

Disability Advocate at Hanley Disability

[email protected]

Macie Sargent is a disability advocate who helps people across Indiana and throughout the nation pursue Social Security Disability benefits when health setbacks prevent them from working.

Macie joined Hanley Disability in 2015, beginning her career as an administrative assistant and case manager before becoming a disability advocate.

When you work with Macie on your disability application, she carefully reviews your medical records to build the strongest possible claim, studies the extensive Social Security Disability regulations as they apply to your situation, and prepares a detailed case summary.

If your claim has been denied, and you’re appealing the decision, Macie drafts thorough legal memorandums for the administrative law judge who will hear your case and represents you on the day of your disability hearing with the judge.

Macie has completed the required training and testing to serve as a Qualified Representative at Social Security Disability hearings. She holds a Paralegal Certificate from Purdue University and is a member of the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR).

Just as important as her technical expertise, Macie believes in staying closely connected with clients—keeping you informed, answering your questions, and helping you understand what to expect at every stage of your claim.

Like all the advocates at Hanley Disability, she is committed to providing personal attention and helping clients move toward better times.
